Watan Sooq
An Arabic classifieds marketplace for Jordan covering listings, jobs, services, remote work, and verified business accounts.
About the
project
Watan Sooq is an Arabic-language classifieds and jobs marketplace for Jordan, with listings across Amman, Salt, and other areas.
Watan Sooq is a Jordanian marketplace where people list and find cars, property, electronics, and furniture, alongside jobs, services, and remote work. Businesses get a dedicated portal with a verified badge, job posting, applicant management, and promoted listings. Safety guidance against fraud runs throughout, and mobile apps are available on iOS and Android.
The
Challenge
A general marketplace has to serve casual sellers, job seekers, and companies in one product, while protecting users from the fraud common on classifieds sites.
Our
solution
We built a Next.js web platform on a Laravel backend with separate sections for listings, jobs, general services, remote work, and community. Businesses use their own portal to get verified, post jobs, and promote listings, and a safety section explains how to buy without being scammed.
Key features
- Classified listings across categories

The
